  • Appendix Carry - Teddy Medina Video

This video is of Teddy Medina, a hit man with the infamous Sparrow street gang in the Phillipines.

NCIS debriefed Medina after he had been captured in the late 80's.

Medina bragged that he could draw and fire from concealment in less than a second with a 1911, so it was decided to set up a demo under very controlled circumstances.

Very interesting video indeed. Points to consider:

    1. Medina, though not "formally" trained is extremely proficient at what he does; drawing from total concealment in less than a second and putting a bullet in someone's head.

    2. Notice how efficient he is from his crotch carried place of concealment. Nice center-line mechanics.

    3. Pay particular attention to the portion of the video where he's pitted against a guy from the holster.

    • ECQC Review - From a Woman's Perspective

Hi Everyone. I recently had the privilege of taking ECQC (09/13-09/15) with Southnarc and Paul Sharp. All I can say about this class is summed up by, “WOW. Completely worthwhile.” I felt like writing a review of this course from a chick’s perspective because I really believe that any woman who carries a gun for self-defense must take this course. So, guys, if you are working on convincing your woman to take this...

Probably good for anyone who carries a gun to be aware of.

I know they don't like us putting the whole body of the article in our posts, but I will post the cases for info:

      1. Graham v. Connor — This is the essential use of force rubric in the country.
      2. Tennessee v. Garner —...
